Jazz Beat the Heat
Wednesday, January 13, 2010
Last night the Utah Jazz played the Eastern Conference’s fifth best team, the Miami Heat. The Jazz have only beaten the Heat once in their last twelve games. Last night they added another win to that record. The Jazz played well last night offensively by taking the ball to the rim enough times to throw Miami off of their game. They also had a lot of ball movement which got Miami out of their defensive positions. Defensively, the Jazz stood their ground and did not let Miami attack the basket. Mehmet Okur had five blocked shot for the game preventing Miami from wanting to drive towards the basket. Carlos Boozer led the Jazz to victory scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds. Deron Williams was close behind scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds. The Jazz beat the Heat 118-89.
